Why the Real Life Halloween Horror in Seoul Turned into Tragedy

Another completely preventable public safety tragedy befell South Korea during Halloween festivities in Seoul. At least 154 deaths and 82 injuries transpired over the course of several hours due to crowd crushing on the public streets. The mostly young revelers in their twenties tried to escape without avail. Many couldn’t even move an inch and found themselves squeezed between bodies until they went into cardiac arrest. Why did it happen? And who should be held to blame?
